Rachel Fellows and her partner Dean Webber were heartbroken when the Holiday Inn in Walsall burnt down as they were due to get married there.
Some 50 firefighters battled the blaze but the hotel could not be saved after a huge fire broke out in the sauna on August 2.
However, there has been a happy ending for the Walsall couple as they managed to find a new venue for the same weekend.
Fortunately, nearby Calderfields Golf and Country Club, on Aldridge Road, had availability on Saturday August 24 so the Walsall mum and dad jumped at the opportunity to get married there.
She added: “The lady at Calderfields was very sympathetic. She said they couldn’t fit us in on the Sunday but they did have space on the Saturday.
“I said with what had happened I didn’t really want to get married on that day anymore anyway so I was happy to change the date. We went and she showed us around and it seemed lovely so we went for it.
