PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!
Public Announcement!
As of Wednesday 13th May golf in England resumed.
Our golf course is occupied by golfers seven days a week and we kindly remind all local residents that due to the course being on private land and on health and safety grounds, all forms of activity other than golf and fishing is prohibited. This includes dog waking, bike riding and general access.
A golf course can be a dangerous place and residents are asked to continue exercising on the canal path and Arboretum. Please check with your children before they head off for the day as we are also experiencing large groups of minors who are not social distancing. We thank you for your anticipated co-operation and hope to see you all soon as welcomed customers.
Also, unfortunately due to a small minority of minors not respecting the golf course and not adhering to social distancing rules we have had no choice but to restrict our fishing lake to over 18s only (unless the minor is accompanied by an adult)The fishing pegs are restricted to a maximum of 2 persons and no other spectators are permitted. The water Marshall will continue to visit the lake and has the authority to ask anyone to leave should they break any guidelines. No music, no fires, no groups! Please call 07835 946257 to book your peg.
