Bar Levy Card

Due to concerns raised by the accountant regarding the high balances held in some members’ accounts, these are carried forward each year & are classed as a liability (at times, a total exceeding £80,000) & we have been advised to follow the approach adopted by many clubs to reduce these balances at the end of each year.

Therefore, all members’ account balances must be reduced to below £10 by the end of February each calendar year. Any balances above £10 will be reduced to £10.

Balances can be spent in the bar, restaurant, hotel or shop.
