There are many different ways of remembering a loved one. How you choose to remember is, of course, a personal choice. Yet whichever you choose, you’ll find a heart-warming, respectful and natural celebration or funeral reception venue in Calderfields.

Calderfields Golf and Country Club is available throughout the week and makes an ideal place for a peaceful, solemn remembrance, or a joyous, upbeat celebration.

Whichever you choose you’ll want to give your guests the perfect environment to remember, celebrate, smile and share reminiscences.

With private parking and room for up to 250 guests, our funeral reception venue based in Aldridge can accommodate anything from a small intimate gathering to a larger celebration.

We have a dedicated event manager and supervisors who cover every detail to ensure all the stress is taken out of your hands on such a sad occasion. We have a vast experience in organising funeral wakes or celebration of lives and we are here to help you organise this important day with empathy and consideration in the forefront of our priorities.

No reception is too large or small. We have a varied array of rooms and suites available to you so any occasion will feel warm and welcoming.

All of our food is prepared by our Award winning chefs and although we offer a package, please do not hesitate to ask if you wish to have a more extensive buffet or banquet. Because we care so much, nothing is too much trouble!

Our Rooms and Suites

The Calderfields Suite is the largest of the suites, a stunningly peaceful suite overlooking the raise terraced and panoramic views of the golf course. Seating up to 140 guests for either a hot and cold buffet or a more formal meal.

This suite has a more restaurant feel to it. With smaller, more intimate seating arrangement, roaring log fire, modern décor and again, stunning views of the golf course, this room is perfect for receptions of 60 to 70 people.

This is the baby of the venue, a small, private room and perfect for a gathering of 20 people or less. Again with its own log burner and pleasant views of the 1st tee.

Our buffet offers a selection of both hot and cold items including:

Spicy Potato Wedges (v)
Pizza Slices
Gala Pork Pie
Sausage Rolls
Vol au Vents
Mixed Potato Salads
Coleslaw
Sandwiches

We can prepare a variety of sandwiches on both white and brown bread, these include: Cheese, Ham, Tuna and mayonnaise with red onion as well as roast beef.

Unlimited Tea and Coffee on arrival for just £3.00 per person.

Why not welcome your guests with a reception drink?
With a choice of Red, White or Rose Wine, Sparkling Wine, Sherry or Port for just £4.25 per person.

Treat your guests to a delicious dessert:
With choices from Cheesecake, Chocolate Gateaux, Apple Pie or Brownies for just £4.95 per person.

We also have 20 beautifully finished log cabins overlooking the golf course. So whether you are accommodating guests from afar or just fancy ditching the car to enjoy a memorable drink, we have it covered. Ask about our accommodation upon booking.

Terms & Conditions:

A reservation is only confirmed on receipt of a deposit.
All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or postponement.
All balances must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival
The event organiser shall be responsible against any loss or damage caused to the venue through negligence, inappropriate behaviour or excessive alcohol and will be charged accordingly.
It is the responsibility of the client to notify Calderfields in writing with any dietary requirements 7 days prior to the event.
In the rare event of circumstances beyond our control, Calderfields reserves the right to change the details of your booking and we will endeavour to notify you of these changes as soon as possible.
Upon payment of a deposit you accept these terms as outlines above.
