Celebration of Life We would both like to thank you and your team very much indeed for the help and assistance at the Golf Club last Thursday for the “Celebration of Life” for our father. Everyone with whom we dealt at Calderfields was extremely helpful, professional and supportive, whilst maintaining the respect for the occasion. The venue was ideal and the catering exactly as required. Perhaps the best compliment which we can offer is that we were so pleased that we chose Calderfields. Christmas Day Meal 2023 I would just like to thank all staff on Christmas Day that made our day so special. The lady front of house was so lovely and professional. Two men stood out and one was Liam behind the bar with his personality and chat to us and loved his Christmas hat. The other man was Neil he served our table and loved the chat we could of took him home . Please pass on our regards and will definitely be back This Year !! Thank you and all the best for 2024
Pre-Christmas Lunch 2023 Just wanted to drop you a message to say a huge thank you to you and your team for a lovely Christmas lunch on Tuesday. The food was delicious, the service was brilliant and all of our staff commented on how much they enjoyed it. I also really appreciate how you were able to accommodate us at fairly late notice. Stay and Play visitors: A note to say thanks for looking after us this weekend. It was a shame about the weather on Saturday but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The course, the accommodation, the food, etc all superb. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff who couldn't do enough for us. Hopefully we will back one day.
Private Event Birthday Party: Just to say thank you for arranging our birthday get-together. Everything was just right for us, the room, the food and the service and help from the staff. Please convey our thanks to all the staff who served us and the ones in the kitchen preparing the food. We had a lovely few hours with our family members chatting, laughing and reminiscing. Thank you again for all your help, we know where to come in the future for family gatherings.
Private Event Birthday Party: Would just like to say how lovely last night was for my Dad's 90th, the staff were very good and the meals were excellent. Being a chef myself, I appreciate good food and everyone was happy. My daughter had her wedding reception at Calderfields a few years ago now but your high standards haven’t changed! Thank you for everything.

Wedding Celebrations: I was a guest at your Country club not so long ago as part of the D and S wedding party (I was the best man). I just wanted to write to say the event was carried out perfectly and was thoroughly enjoyable. All staff I had the pleasure of talking to or being served by were extremely helpful and polite, The staff conducting the ceremony were patient, charismatic and managed to put everyone at ease while remaining very professional. The meals were top notch, some very unique dishes I'd not tried previously and the timing of the courses, entertainment and speeches etc was just right. All in all, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay and I'd suggest it to anyone as a great venue. Please give a big thanks the staff involved for all the hard work they put in, It was well worth it.
Wedding Celebrations: "Absolutely fantastic! We had our wedding here and throughout the entire process, Calderfields was supportive and so helpful. The Events Manager was with us every step of the way and helped us organise a fantastic day. Everything went off without a hitch and they were so accommodating with dietary needs and making our guests feel welcome. The reception room was so beautifully decorated and it was everything we wanted."

Funeral Wake I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all of the staff who were involved prior to and during N C's wake on the 27th of October 2022. Everyone with whom I dealt was incredibly pleasant and helpful, despite one or two very last-minute amendments. The smooth way in which it ran was down to the kindness and unobtrusive efficiency, which made everything so much easier for me and others. Having organised these events over the last 12 years – albeit a break during Covid – I can truly say that not only was the venue perfect for the occasion, you all did an amazing job in making a night to remember! Birthday Celebrations @Calderfields 2022 I just wanted to thank you and your team for all their efforts on Saturday. Maisy was a joy to work with and was always so helpful. Everyone was very complimentary of the venue, food and your teams service levels. I will be back in contact with her over the next couple of months to plan next year's event.
Going the Extra Mile! My golf Society stayed at Calderfields over the bank holiday weekend, a large society of 23, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found your staff from the catering, bar management, cleaning, and not forgetting your receptionists all to be thoroughly courteous and did their jobs to a high standard. However, I want to mention your receptionist Julie Roberts showed she could go above and beyond to assist a guest, on leaving Calderfields on Monday morning I inadvertently left my golf cart battery in the car park, this item is expensive to replace (£200), on contacting your reception it was Julie I spoke to, and my battery was located, and Julie assisted me in having it packed up so my courier could come and collect it, the item was collected this morning and will be delivered back to me tomorrow, to say I am very pleased is an understatement, Julie saved me a lot of time and expense in this matter, and when dealing with me she was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. Julie is what customer care is all about, I wish more places had a Julie working for them. So in closing, thank you to all your teams, and especially Julie.

UB40 Tribute Night Saturday 04 December 2021 “I just wanted to let you know what a great time we all had at Saturday's tribute night. The food was excellent: well presented and we were impressed with how the soup and main course were served piping hot, and both the waiting and bar staff were polite and efficient. The band and DJ were good and all in all, the evening was an excellent way to kick off our Christmas festivities. Please pass on our thanks and congratulations to everyone involved. We'll certainly be attending similar events at Calderfields in the future. Have a great Christmas!
Everyone had such a good night. Quite a few of our guests have never been to Calderfields before so they'll definitely be back. My mom was telling everyone how good your carvery is and has booked in for a few weeks time. My dad really enjoyed himself so thank you!!
A big thank you to all the staff at last night's Rod Stewart tribute night on the special occasion of our 70th birthday ,what a fab night enjoyed by all our friends that came along with us to celebrate.

I am writing on behalf of all the members of the Anchorage 55+ Social Club in Aldridge to express our sincere thanks for the support given by Calderfields Golf Club to our recent Grand Christmas Raffle. With the majority of prizes donated by various retailers, pubs and catering providers in and around Aldridge such as Calderfields Golf & Country Club. The raffle raised over £428.00 which was a magnificent boost to our club funds at a particularly difficult financial time. The Club is extremely grateful to all concerned for the generosity shown, and would like to take this opportunity to wish you and all your staff a very happy new year and a prosperous one for the company. Went here with family for afternoon tea. Beautiful location, staff very friendly and efficient. Tea was very good with an abundance of tea or coffee, of varying varieties. Lots of cakes and good variety of finger sandwiches.
Held our Golden Wedding anniversary party here in July 2019. Staff were fantastic! We had a sit-down meal for 52 people and all were served at the same time - a considerable achievement for the chef and waiting staff. There was a pre-selected choice for each course. The food was hot (if it should be) and delicious. All of our guests were impressed with both the food and the service. Will definitely use again should we wish to hold another party for whatever reason.
We have been visiting this restaurant twice a year for many years now & the food & service is always good but today the team excelled themselves & everything was fantastic - it was great food & wonderful service.
I have been involved in organising a number of large functions and would like to recommend Calderfields Golf & Country Club where we have been on a number of occasions recently. We have always found the staff to be very Professional, the food great, and the value excellent.
I agree with you entirely about our match this week and our newly forged friendship during the year. The feedback from Wergs Seniors has been tremendous in relation to Calderfields and your Senior members. It's very nice to meet golfers with similar aims to ourselves which, put simply is to enjoy our sport and the friendships it encourages. We think the post-game carvery at The Wergs takes some beating, but the unanimous opinion is that the food served for us this week was the very best of anywhere. Even better when you add the spirit of friendship from everyone. Obviously now we look forward to next year and hope that there is no repeat of the weather difficulties we had in 2019. Apart from the result I understand everyone had a great day yesterday and really enjoyed the company and meal afterwards. I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to play the matches this year and am looking forward to next year. I attended a networking event at Calderfields this week. The room looked great and the staff were brilliant, allowing the event to run smoothly. The carvery was delicious - plenty of choice for everyone. I have a serious peanut allergy and the staff dealt with this with ease, taking it seriously and preparing a separate dessert for me which was fantastic - it is rare that places do this so thank you Calderfields! Would not hesitate to recommend!
I honestly don’t know where to start. The moment we walked into Calderfields the service we received was above and beyond anywhere else we had been. We first went to visit Calderfields for a potential wedding venue and we fell in love with it the moment we arrived. Not only did we love how the room was dressed and presented but the service of all the staff and the wedding events manager was outstanding. There’s not many places I have been that have left that lasting impression on me. We had our wedding on 18th August 2018 and it was a truly magical day thanks to Calderfields and all the staff. Since we have been to there New Year, Sunday dinners, Halloween and lots of other events. It’s become our second home and I can’t wait to find an excuse to book another event there.
We got married at Calderfields on the 05.10.19, and what a magical day it was! Shannon played a very important part of our day, making sure it could be the best day possible! Shannon wasn’t just our wedding planner, she became a very special friend of ours. Nothing was ever to much trouble, we had every inch of trust with Shannon to make our day perfect. She went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly, all our decorations were set up just now we envisioned, and as we saw the first glimpse of the room we had tears in our eyes . We decided to hold the whole day in the Calderfields suite & what we loved was how different the room looked every single time! Every single one of the staff members at Calderfields were polite and friendly, and always on hand when you needed them! The food was exceptional, and all our guests commented on how beautiful the food was and the whole day was. Thank you Shannon & the team at Calderfields for one of the best days of our lives, and making our wedding day so perfect! We cannot thank you all enough. We can’t wait to return for our anniversary and look forward to seeing you all real soon! X
We had our Wedding here end of September. Shannon and the team are just fantastic. Literally cannot do enough for you. (even raced to my house to fetch my forgotten bouquet ♥️). We loved every minute of our day and evening. The food was fantastic, and so much of it! Our guests commented on how lovely and friendly the staff were. The day was just perfect, everything went to plan.., the room was perfect, the food was amazing, and they couldn’t do enough for us and our family and friends. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff and good quality food Often visit here with friends , staff are always welcoming , new menu food is of good quality at very reasonable prices Nice venue for private functions have had two functions here both very enjoyable with excellent service Staff can’t do enough for you ! Would highly recommend.
What a fabulous evening. Great Robbie Williams act followed by a disco til the early hours. The food and service was brilliant, piping hot and tasted delicious. Will definitely be booking again throughout the year and for Christmas. Thank you Calderfields for a great evenings entertainment.
This is my second stay in the lodges here, excellent clean accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting, the restaurant serves great quality food at good prices, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the lady behind the bar and serving, (Sophie) I think was simply delightful. So much nicer staying here than the usual chains!!! Definitely recommend.
7 of us had Sunday lunch for my mother in laws birthday. My mom has eating requirements and the staff were fantastic on making sure she was catered for. The table was a nice size round table with plenty of room overlooking the golf course. The food was outstanding with plenty of chose and amazing view over the golf course.
Decided to take my Grandmother here for a Sunday carvery, can honestly say the nicest carvery we had ever had! Very generous with the meat serving, excellent service considering how busy it was, and everything was cooked to perfection. Couldn't believe how cheap it was for a Sunday!
Visited this place for a boys golfing trip over the bank holiday weekend. Cannot recommend the place highly enough. Golf course was in great condition and a real pleasure to play for golfers of all abilities. Course has some great but testing holes. Found all the staff from reception, bar staff to waiting staff to be very polite and helpful, The golf course refreshment man was ace! The cabins we stayed in were very clean, fairly spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and fresh. Breakfast was decent to! For £49 for 36 holes of golf, a night’s stay and Breakfast, this place is most certainly a winner and a return trip to do it all again is guaranteed.
