Day Tickets

Here at Calderfields the signature mantel of the golf course doubles up to offer a fantastic fishing lake. The lake hosts seven pegs all in prime locations, yet, sheltered from straying golf balls, meaning fishermen can enjoy a day of uninterrupted and private territories. The fishing lake is open to the public and there is no dress code for fishermen using the lake, however, we politely request everyone that enters the venue to utilise our changing facilities and bar and restaurant area are clean and respectfully turned out.

Upon reporting to reception you will receive a warm welcome before signing a waiver and learning any rules or safety instructions before being issued a day ticket and shown through our security gate.

The lake is open from dusk till dawn and any overnight fishing is strictly prohibited as too are BBQs and camp fires.

A marshal will visit you during the day so please have your day ticket to hand. We also kindly ask that all fishermen use the rubbish bins provided and that all tackle, bait and rubbish are disposed of correctly.

Calderfields is proud of its wildlife protection as we boast rare birds, pond life and other species who thrive on this beautiful parkland golf course and we ask to keep their safety and wellbeing in the forefront of your mind at all times.

The lake plays host to a variety of fish including Common carp, Mirror carp, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Tench. We periodically restock the lake with F1 fish to assist in reproduction.

We receive regular compliments about the health of our fish and it is not uncommon to see weights of 15lbs and over!
