No, Calderfields is a company which re-invests into its future and is owned by a family of Directors. The club accepts visitors seven days a week and the public are welcome onsite at any point.
Yes, Calderfields offers society packages seven days a week. We do not accept group bookings before 11am on weekends due to our members competitions, but, unlike most clubs, we do welcome visiting golfers all week.
We may on occasions request a handicap certificate. If a golfer is slowing up play and shows a lack of competence, we may ask him/her to leave the golf course for the safety and enjoyment of everyone.
Yes, as a member you will receive a whole list of benefits from discounted food and drink to regular golf competitions and a large social calendar of events. Being a member certainly has benefits over being a casual visitor.
Here at Calderfields we have a sister company in the Staffordshire Performance Golf Centre. This centre is located adjacent to the 1st tee and hosts an array of services from physios to personal trainers to experts in wellbeing management as well as a fully stocked Pro shop and indoor simulator room. The centre has three golf professionals onsite who are around to look after all your golfing needs.
The shop does not offer discount across the board, but, the shop does have a price match guarantee. If you find the same item anywhere else (Other than online) we will guarantee to match, if not, beat the price.
Yes, we have a fleet of 16 Yamaha buggy’s as well as pull and electric trolleys. All of these services are popular so we encourage everyone to pre book these.
No. Unless you are playing golf, the golf course is out of bounds to other guests. This is purely down to a health and safety reason.
Yes, here at Calderfields we pride ourselves as being gay-friendly and welcoming of same-sex weddings. You can be assured you and your guests will be warmly welcomed.
Yes. Although we have two civil licensed rooms onsite holding up to 150 guests, we do welcome newlyweds who have tied the knot at other church’s or venues. Remember, we can Taylor a wedding package to suit everyone’s needs.
Because we take wedding bookings so far in advance you should contact us as soon as possible to check availability. We sometimes have dates available up to the last minute, especially for less traditional days such as midweek weddings, so it’s often worthwhile giving us a call. At this point we can also arrange for you to come and visit the club, have a look around and discuss your general requirements.
We will provisionally hold the date for you for a pre-agreed time, up to 7 days. To confirm your booking all you need to do is sign and return a copy of the Terms and Conditions of the booking, together with your deposit.
On the day itself you will be met by your wedding host who will be on-hand to provide their support and ensure everything happens exactly as you planned. They will have worked closely with your wedding co-ordinator beforehand to ensure they have a thorough understanding of every single detail, so you don’t need to have any worries.
Unfortunately, no. We have four awards winning chefs onsite who are ready and waiting to prepare the catering for your event. It is against our policy and hygiene standards to allow outside catering on the premises.
Yes, we welcome guests to provide their own entertainment, however, all third parties entering site such as Djs and live acts must provide copies of their pat tested equipment and their public liability insurance up to £5 million. If these papers are not met, we hold the right to refuse entry to these companies.
There is no such thing as minimum numbers as we offer rooms to cater for all size of events. However, we do insist that you pay for the correct number of guests when providing food. Remember, there is nothing more embarrassing than your guests running out of food!
Our log cabins sleep a maximum of two people; however, we do have two cabins which open up into a large cabin to sleep four.
No. Unfortunately we only allow guide dogs onsite.
No, Unfortunately we do not offer room service. We do however have a beautiful venue offering stunning patios and restaurants overlooking the golf course as well a free wifi in the bars to allow you to unwind and relax at your leisure. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and well as flat screen free view television ensuring you have plenty to do whilst here on your break.
