Mother’s Day 2026 Menu
Our fantastic Mothering Sunday three course carvery lunch menu consists of:
Starters:
Chef’s Homemade Parsnip and Cider Soup
which will be served with a Crusty Bread Roll
Chicken Tenders
Crispy breaded chicken tenders served with a mixed leaf salad and a BBQ sauce
Spinach and Goats Cheese Tart [V]
A short crust pastry tart with Onion Marmalade along with wilted spinach.topped with goats’ cheese, served on a bread of rocket and drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar.
Garlic Mushrooms [V] [GF]
Portobello mushroom filled with cream cheese and chive, topped with breadcrumbs, served on a bed of rocket
Main Course:
Carvery
Our famous traditional Sunday Carvery with a range of locally sourced succulent meats and seasonal vegetables.
Vegan and Vegetarian options are available.
Desserts:
Mint Aero Sundae [V]
An Ice Cream Sundae with vanilla and mint chip ice cream, chocolate Aero pieces, finished off with a chocolate sauce and cream.
Chocolate Fudge Cake [V] [VE] [GF]
Delicious two layered chocolate sponge cake filled and covered with chocolate fudge icing served with vanilla ice cream
Caramel Apple Betty [V]
Short Crust pastry pie with apple filling, topped with sweet caramel served with custard.
Lemon Meringue Cheesecake [V]
A zesty lemon flavoured cheescake topped with meringue pieces and served with cream.
Profiteroles [V]
Choux pastry balls filled with sweetened dairy cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
