Alan Tranter
Very sadly on Thursday 27th October, Alan Tranter one of our Directors passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by all of his family after a short, but, brave battle with a rare and aggressive cancer.
Alan was well known by all as being the driving force behind the majority of the investments and improvements which Calderfields has seen since the family purchased the venue back in 2008.
The family wishes to thank you all for your kind words and support over the past two months, Linda, Mark and Debbie are still as dedicated as ever to ensure the Club continues to go forward just as Alan would have wanted.
Alan’s funeral is to be held on Thursday 17th November 2022 at 1 pm at Streetly Crematorium followed by a wake to be held at Calderfields Golf & Country Club.
As we anticipate a large attendance, the family have kindly asked that seats at the crematorium are given priority to the family.
A Television will be displaying the service outside for those who cannot get in.
Family cars only to leave the family’s home, all other guests are asked to make their way straight to Streetly Crematorium.
The family have asked for family flowers only but anyone wishing to make a donation can do so on the day or prior in aid of St Giles of Whittington- Further details to follow.
