Rejuvenating the Bunkers

On a damp Monday morning, (16th May 2022) the green staff are out and about with their new bit of equipment which was kindly purchased by the directors.

The new rotavator will be used to break up the years of compacted sand in the bunkers which has caused them to become hard and what seems like there is little sand in them,

This machine will rotavate the sand to a depth of approximately 3 inches (75mm) decompacting the sand and creating “a like-new surface that will be softer and fluffier to play out of”

After this process, some of the bunkers will be topped with sand to make them even better.
