Les Williams

Recently, Les Williams was invited to Staffs County and made an Honorary Vice President of the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs. Les was our Club Captain in 1993 and then became President in 2003 for two years. He will probably be best remembered for being the club treasurer for a remarkable Twenty-four years, a role from which he relinquished only a couple of years ago.

Bob Simkin, past captain and past President said “This honour is nothing more than Les deserves. The service he has given not just Calderfields but local golf is staggering and I know everyone here at the Club is hugely proud of him”

Congratulations to Les from everyone at Calderfields Golf and Country Club on this wonderful achievement.
