Message from our Head Greenkeeper
Tuesday 07th January 2025
It’s great to see the snow thawing and some green patches of grass showing. However it’s important to remember that when the snow has gone it won’t mean the course will instantly be playable.
The rapid thaw and heavy rain we have experienced means there is now a large amount of water moving around the course and overwhelming some of the drainage systems on the course.
Add this to previously frozen ground and further freezing conditions later in the week means we can expect to stay closed for a little longer.
I know this is frustrating but rest assured the green staff will get golf available as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.
