New Practice Nets offically opened

On Sunday 13th March at 1.30pm Club President, Ken Jones, Club Captain, Rob Ashfield, Lady Captain, Lyn Alderson and Seniors Captain, Dave Freeman, officially opened the new practice driving nets which have been purchased by the Membership section.

The four Club officers all took turns to hit the official opening shots on this blustery Spring afternoon. President Ken said “It is great to finally open this fantastic facility just in time for the Season to start. I am looking forward to seeing everybody use it including our Junior section.

A special thanks must go to former President and handicap Secretary, Tom Keenan who played an instrumental part in sourcing and installing the facility” The new nets sit proudly at the end of the practice range where it will become a central feature once the par 3 course opens.
