One of our members receives highest award for services to the meat industry.

The Institute of Meat (IoM) and the Worshipful Company of Butchers (WCB) Awards for 2022 were held at the Butchers’ Hall London on 24th February 2022.

Over 100 guests gathered in the Livery Hall to see apprentices, training providers and employers receive their awards. HRH The Princess Royal, past Master of the WCB and Fellow of the IoM, was guest of honour at this year’s ceremony. 

Food Hygiene Consultant and member of Calderfields Golf and Country Club, Paul Bache MBE, became an Honorary Fellow in recognition of a lifetime achievement in the industry. There have been only 6 previous recipients. 

The awards were presented by Her Royal Highness and Bill Jermey Chairman of the Institute of Meat.

Paul Bache was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to the Meat Industry.
