Paul Simkiss Charity Shield day 2022

The Paul Simkiss Charity Shield Day took place on Thursday 28th July 2022.

This annual event is held in memory of Paul Simkiss who was a member of the seniors’ section.

The shield was donated by the family to be played for each year with funds raised from the event to be donated to St Giles Hospice.

51 members of our Seniors Section played in the event this year with congratulations going to the winner, David Urquhart.

The event was attended by Paul’s widow, Wendy together with their daughter Michelle and they both presented David with the shield.

A total of £240.00 was raised on the day which will be donated to St Giles Hospice.
