SafeGolf accreditation

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the SafeGolf club accreditation from England Golf.
The SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf.
Dan who led the club’s push to achieve the SafeGolf status said: “This is another award, and more recognition to add to this Club’s achievements in recent times. We pride ourselves on being a very friendly, welcoming and forward-thinking Club. This award helps us to spread that message and to tell people that children and adults alike are safe and secure here and that we understand about beginner golfers.
A special mention must go to Dave Freeman, Our Club Welfare Officer. His hours of dedicated and voluntary work has certainly helped us achieve this award”
The award was presented to Calderfields Golf and Country Club by Mark Romasiuk, England Golf’s Club Support Officer. Who said, “I’m delighted that Calderfields has achieved SafeGolf and that its efforts to grow the game can be nationally recognised.”
