Calderfields Hotel, Golf & Country Club is a thriving venue set in beautiful grounds between Walsall and Aldridge.We are looking to recruit a Carvery Carver who will be carving and serving our selection of meats for the customers each week.
We have 21 log cabins overlooking a golf course as well as a thriving members section and popular banqueting venue including our “infamous” Sunday Carvery.
Ideal Candidate should have:
- A good understanding of good hygiene practices within all food areas
- Attention to detail, precision and patience.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and remain calm under pressure.
- A high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Preferably had previous experience in similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Availability to work over weekends, bank holidays and festive periods.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Help to set up the Carvery Deck prior to the service starting.
- Ensuring the carvery deck is looking clean and at its best throughout the shift.
- Greeting the customers and carve their chosen meats.
- Being the front face of the carvery and providing a friendly service at all times.
- To help clean down and tidy away all the equipment at the end of the service.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast paced and high-volume kitchen
- This role would suit an experienced chef with previous carving experience who is looking for set part time hours each week
